    HI Donna,

Thanks very much for sharing your wonderful creations with us. It’s always a joy stopping by to view your artwork… you are truly an artist.

I’ve been decorating cakes for family and friends for a short while now but I have a problem. They don’t seem to like the taste of fondant all that much. But I love to work with fondant/gumpaste and royal icing for decorations and accents. So I was wondering if I were to use buttercream frosting on my cakes and then add fondant decorations… it will work right?

But I live in a warm country and so buttercream frosted cakes have to be stored in the fridge. I do know that fondant/gumpaste don’t do well in the fridge. The decorations will start to get sticky. What about royal icing decorations?

I would your opinion and kind wisdom on how I can manage this challenge. What can I do ?
